AMBICO partners with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) to independently test and certify our fire-rated products as well as some of our engineered doors and frames. UL has tested products and written safety standards since 1894. This provides customers with the assurance that all of our fire-labelled and performance rated products have been evaluated according to NFPA-80 and UL-10C standards, and that other performance rated doors have been independently tested under the latest industry standards. We are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality of product safety and certification, which is why we trust UL’s expertise and knowledge when testing and certifying our fire-rated products.

To ensure our fire-rated products meet all necessary regulations and are safe for customers, AMBICO has partnered with Intertek, an international testing, inspection, and certification company. Through this partnership, AMBICO’s products have been independently tested and certified under the Warnock Hersey (WH) Mark—a mark of conformity recognized around the world as evidence of product safety and compliance with local codes and regulations. This again provides our customers assurance that all of our fire-labelled and performance rated products have been evaluated according to NFPA-80 and UL-10C standards, and that other performance rated doors have been independently tested under the latest industry standards.

The Canadian Standards Association (CSA) is a not-for-profit membership-based organization that develops standards and codes for the Canadian marketplace.
